Trauma Therapy
I specialize in treating Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and use therapeutic modalities that help my clients get symptom relief with fewest number of sessions. Using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Clinical Hypnosis, I have helped many clients to resolve their symptoms to their satisfaction and move onto the next phase in their lives. These methods help clients to recognize unconscious barriers and acquire a more adaptive perspective on events that have caused them immense distress, suffering, and pain.
Couples Therapy
I believe that healthy relationship patterns are an important part of mental health and well-being. I use Emotion-Focussed Therapy, Solution-Focussed Therapy, and the Gottman approach to help couples improve their understanding of each other as well as their relationship patterns. My focus is for couples is on deepening insight and emotional connection in order to help both partners meet their needs and achieve their relationship goals.
Clinical Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a powerful tool to help clients tap into internal resources to improve the mind-body connection, reduce stress, and change unwanted behaviors.
I use hypnosis for trauma, anxiety, pain management, insomnia, habit cessation, and performance enhancement.
Gut-directed Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is an evidence-based practice for the treatment of chronic digestive disorders.
I use hypnosis to help clients develop skills to reduce stress reactivity and reach a deeper level of relaxation that will help them to increase control of their digestive function.
